The Audition – Controversy Loves Company

Submitted by Michael Friedman on November 18, 2008 – 9:58 pmNo Comment

auditionThis debut album brought to us by Victory Records is definitely the next big thing. As the Audition adds to the amazing list of pop punk bands brewed by Chicago, they join an elite list of rockers like Fall Out Boy, The Academy is, Spitalfield, June, and the Plain White T’s. Hailing from the suburbs of Chicago (with exception of the Lead Singer, Danny Stevens born in Detroit ), the Audition brings and extremely catchy sound that will leave you singing to yourself for weeks. Recently coming off of the “small towns burn a little slower, and forgive durden tour” with fellow native Chicagoans, June, the Audition has built a fan base all over the country eagerly waiting for their next big move. Controversy Loves Company offers perfect harmonies, appetizing breakdowns, and catchy lyrics. As the band teamed up with the extremely talented producer John Naclerio (also produced albums by My Chemical Romance, Senses Fail, and Brand New), it was only a matter of time before this amazing debut came to life. Furthermore, with a video already aired on MTV, you will be happy or pissed to know that The Audition has already been ignited, and are soon to blowup. There should be know controversy about it, Controversy Loves Company is a Four Star album.
